Terms and Conditions of Purchase
At Royal Iron Doors, customer satisfaction is our priority. To ensure transparency and a clear understanding of our policies, please review the following Terms and Conditions of Purchase.
1. General Terms
These Terms apply to all orders, documents, and agreements between you (“Purchaser”) and Royal Iron Doors (“Seller”) for the sale and/or provision of products and services.
2. Payment Terms
- Payments may be made via credit card or check.
- At least a 50% deposit (including shipping) is due at the time of order placement, prior to production.
- The remaining 50% is due upon completion of fabrication (up to 5 months from the order date) and must be paid before shipping or installation.
- All payments are securely processed through Shopify Payments. Charges will appear as ‘SP * ROYAL IRON DOORS.
3. Returns & Cancellations
Because each door is custom-made to your specifications, all sales are final and we cannot accept returns or cancellations once manufacturing has begun.
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us immediately at info@royalirondoors.com so we can assist with a resolution or freight claim. Refunds are not typically issued except in cases where an order cannot be fulfilled or a warranty claim is approved.
4. Warranty
All warranties apply only to the original Purchaser while residing or conducting business at the installation location. The Purchaser must be current on all payments. Warranty claims require inspection and written authorization from both our production manager and sales representative. Shipping charges may apply.
a. Doors
- 4-year limited warranty against structural and mechanical defects on door frames, doors, and transoms.
- Remedies may include replacement parts (FOB nearest shipping point) or a refund equal to the cost of the parts, at our discretion.
- The replacement parts’ warranty covers the remaining original warranty period.
- Labor, installation, sales tax, finishing, or incidental costs are not covered unless required by law.
b. Paint & Finish
- Professionally applied finishes are warrantied for 2 years from the date of sale.
- Excludes scratches from shipping or installation (covered by included touch-up kit), damage from improper maintenance, or environmental exposure.
c. Glass
- 1-year warranty from the date of sale for glass components.
- Excludes minor imperfections, scratches, or breakage.
d. Handles
- Handle warranties follow each manufacturer’s terms.
- Excludes scratches due to shipping or installation (touch-up kit included).
5. Production Lead Time
Orders may take up to 4 months from the date of purchase to complete.
6. Shipping & Transit
- All shipments are fully insured. If any damage occurs during transit, please note it on the delivery receipt and contact us immediately at info@royalirondoors.com. We will assist you in filing a freight claim and help coordinate replacement or repair as appropriate.
7. Legal & Chargebacks
- In the event of non-payment, the Purchaser remains responsible for all outstanding balances and any reasonable legal or collection fees incurred in the recovery process.
Chargebacks that are found to be unwarranted or made in bad faith may be treated as a breach of these Terms. We encourage customers to contact our support team at info@royalirondoors.com to resolve any concerns before initiating a chargeback.
